The Ground Reality

Why Pankhini Had to Exist

Uttar Pradesh has over 100 million women and girls. Yet access to mental health support, quality education, and legal awareness remains critically low — especially in semi-urban areas of NCR.

How We Work

Technology Meets
Community Roots

We don't parachute in with solutions. We build with communities — using technology as an amplifier, not a replacement, for human connection and trust.

1

Identify Real Barriers

We work with Anganwadi Centres, schools, and community leaders to understand what actually stops girls from learning and women from leading.

2

Co-Design with Beneficiaries

Girls and women shape our programmes. They know their needs better than any policy document written in a city far away.

3

Deploy Tech Built for Bharat

Mobile-first, Hindi-language tools that work on basic Android phones with limited data — because real India isn't always well-connected.

4

Measure & Improve Continuously

Data-driven improvement with community accountability. Every rupee tracked, every outcome measured, every story heard.

Technology Stack

Built for Bharat — not borrowed from Silicon Valley.

Our programmes run on mobile-first Hindi platforms, working on entry-level Android devices with minimal data — reaching girls and women where they actually are.
